This Privacy Policy explains how Kemoranto (“we”, “the App”) handles information when you use the iOS application. Kemoranto is a railway-themed personal planner: you create tasks, schedule them on Today’s Rail, run Focus timers, and optionally add tasks by Voice, Scan, or Calendar.
1. Who we are
Product name: Kemoranto
Platform: Apple iOS
Contact: PientkaRobello70@outlook.com
Support page: Kemoranto Support
2. Information stored on your device
- Tasks, schedules, focus session logs, templates, and Schedule Archive data
- Your nickname and avatar photo (the photo is never uploaded)
- App preferences and your sign-in state
- A random device ID that the App generates and keeps in the iOS Keychain. It is not an advertising identifier.
3. Information sent over the network
The App connects to our server over HTTPS in these cases:
- Sign-in. After you agree on the first screen, the App creates a session on our server. It sends the random device ID, device and app details (device model, iOS version, app version), language, region, and time zone. Our server also receives your IP address. We use this to create and keep an account linked to your device ID, load app settings, and prevent abuse. There is no password, email, or username. The session token is kept only in the App’s memory and is sent with later requests.
- Voice and Scan. The transcribed or recognized text is sent to our server, which splits it into task titles with simple rules and does not keep it. Text you type in the Type channel and calendar events you import stay on the device.
- Nickname. When you save a nickname, it is sent for a content check.
- Templates and log out. Opening Ticket Clip loads templates, and logging out or deleting your account notifies our server.
After sign-in, the App shows a welcome web page provided by our server inside the App.
4. Permissions
Permissions are requested only when you use the related feature:
- Camera — scan handwritten to-dos or notes
- Photo Library — import images of notes or task lists, or pick a profile photo
- Microphone — record voice memos for task creation
- Speech Recognition — transcribe voice memos with Apple speech recognition
- Calendar — read events to import onto your timeline (read-only)
You can deny a permission and keep using other features, such as the Type channel.
5. How we use information
- Provide sign-in, planning, focus, and archive features
- Split Voice and Scan text into task tickets and check nicknames
- Keep the service secure and prevent abuse
- Reply to support requests you send by email
We do not sell your personal data, track you across other apps, or use your data for advertising.
6. Sharing
- Service providers that run our server and account service (including Cloudflare hosting), only to provide the features above
- Apple — system frameworks you allow (Speech, Calendar, Photos, Camera)
- You — when you use Share / Export (e.g. ticket text or a PDF timetable via the iOS share sheet)
- Authorities, when applicable law requires it
7. Retention & deletion
- Server sessions expire automatically 30 days after last use.
- Log out (End Shift) ends your session on our server.
- Delete account (Control Panel) ends your server session, erases your data on the device, and resets the device ID.
- To delete any remaining account records on our side, email PientkaRobello70@outlook.com. We delete them within 30 days.
- Uninstalling the App removes its data from that device.
8. Children
Kemoranto is not directed at children under 13. Do not use the App if you are under the minimum age required in your region.
9. International users
Our service providers may process data outside your country, only as needed to provide the features you use.
10. Changes
We may update this Policy. The effective date at the top will change. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
